Southwest Airlines seems to think so. We really like this clever new, feel-good ad campaign. To us it’s clear that SWA is going after business travelers. Big time. Check the ad out (less than one minute) and let us know what you think! Is Southwest an airline you’d choose for business travel? Why or why not? Be sure and leave your comments below.

Ok, maybe I’m slow. What’s on? That Southwest is ready to do battle with Virgin, Jet Blue, etc? Is there a follow-up to this ad that may explain the slogan better? I guess I should admit, I’ve never flown Southwest – I’ve always been willing to pay extra for a reserved seat.

Fun and inspiring. As to what “it’s on” means, it’s a reference to … an engagement, a task, a priority, or a possible new client. There’s like, when there’s something to do, and someone says “I’m on it” and then they disappear and go do it.

I like Southwest but unless I am flying only the west coast or can go non-stop I too prefer paying more for a reserved seat.

Clever, hip and perfect for the times of business travelers. I say “its right on”.
